Is Compuscan academy accredited?

In 2004 Compuscan Academy was officially accredited (Accreditation Number: 557033) with the BANKSETA’s Education and Training Quality Assurance (ETQA) body as a provider of education and training.
Compuscan Academy is also accredited with and members of:

  • Institute of Credit Management (ICM)
  • Microfinance Management Institute (MFMI)

Are there funds or bursaries available to study at compuscan academy?

Yes.

BANKSETA provides funded training through their Small and Micro Enterprises (SME) Training Voucher Project where those to SME’s who are registered with BANKSETA can apply for funded training to the value of R 15 000 with training institutions such as Compuscan Academy.

How do i know if i qualify to participate in bankseta's training voucher project?

To be able to make use of the funded training provided by BANKSETA through the voucher system you need to be:

  • Registered with BANSKETA
  • Have a staff complement of less than 50 employees
  • Have submitted your Workplace Skills Plan

How do i apply for bankseta training vouchers?

When applying for training vouchers, you need to go to the following website: www.banksetatrainingvoucher.org.za and follow the steps listed.

Do you offer your programmes in distance learning?

Yes, rather than attending courses in person, our learners are afforded the opportunity to complete most of our programmes in their own time and at their own pace through distance learning. When enroling for distance learning, the Academy sends you all the learning material and resources that you need to successfully complete the programme while having the added benefit of a dedicated support structure at the Academy.

Can i do the courses online?

Compuscan Academy is currently investigating the opportunity to expand our offerings into e-learning platforms.

What happens if i don't pass my assessment first time?

  • The learning process
  • The subject matter of the learning programme
  • The assessment of the learning programme
  • Implementing knowledge/skills gained in the workplace
  • Future learning opportunities

  • Any other guidance and support required by the student

How long will it take to get my certificate?

Certification of learning achievements will be issued upon successful completion of the learning programme summative assessment and endorsement from the relevant Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA.)

Only learners who have fully met the requirements of the unit standard/s or qualification/s may be issued with the relevant certificate.

How do i pay for the training programme?

Payments need to be made prior to the training programme happening and can be made via internet banking or direct deposit. Only bank guaranteed cheques will be accepted.

Can you deliver training at my workplace?

We can deliver training at your venue provided that there are at least 6 delegates attending the training programme.

Do you offer training nationally?

Yes, we have two of our own training centers situated in Stellenbosch at our head office and in Centurion, Pretoria respectively. In other regions we arrange a training facility in your town or area to suit your training needs.
