Is Compuscan Academy accredited?

Please refer to our list of accreditations and accredited courses.

Where is the training delivered?

We can deliver training at your venue or workplace provided that there are at least six delegates attending the training programme. In addition, we can provide training at a facility in Stellenbosch or at our offices in Sandton. In other regions, we can arrange a training facility to suit your training needs.

Where do I check the dates for your courses?

Do you offer your programmes in distance learning?

Rather than attending courses in person, our learners are afforded the opportunity to complete most of our programmes in their own time and at their own pace through distance learning. When enroling for distance learning, Compuscan Academy sends you all the learning material and resources that you need to successfully complete the programme while having the added benefit of a dedicated support structure at Compuscan Academy.

What payment options are available?

Payments need to be made prior to the training programme commencing and can be made via internet banking or direct deposit. Only bank guaranteed cheques will be accepted.

Furthermore, we have partnered with Eduloan to offer a finance option subject to certain terms and conditions. Should you wish to follow the finance option please specify when requesting a quotation to ensure the quote includes the cost and process for finance.

LEARNER SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE

If I struggle with my assessment or portfolio of evidence, who can I contact?

Compuscan Academy has a dedicated learner support team that you can contact to assist you with your training and assessment related enquiries. The learner support officers can be contacted on 021 888 6000 or e-mailed on support@compuscanacademy.co.za.

MY ASSESSMENTS & CERTIFICATES

What happens if i don’t pass my assessment first time?

The learner will have two more re-assessment opportunities after the first attempt. Compuscan Academy also has a dedicated learner support officer that can be contacted on support@compuscanacademy.co.za who will assist and guide you on the following:

  • The learning process
  • The subject matter of the learning programme
  • The assessment of the learning programme
  • Implementing knowledge/skills gained in the workplace
  • Future learning opportunities
  • Career pathways
  • Any other guidance and support required by the learner

How long will it take to get my certificate?

Certification of learning achievements will be issued upon successful completion of the learning programme, summative assessment and endorsement from the relevant Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA.)

Only learners who have fully met the requirements of the unit standard/s or qualification/s may be issued with the relevant certificate.

NATIONAL CREDIT ACT TRAINING

What is the difference between the National Credit Act (NCA) Workshop and the NCA Card Workshop?

The only difference is that with the NCA Card workshop, the costs of the exam will be included where members would be able to obtain their NCA Card to become a Finance and Insurance Agent.

DEBT COUNSELLING TRAINING

Once I have completed the Debt Counselling training does Compuscan Academy register me with the NCR as a debt counsellor?

Compuscan Academy as a training provider simply helps the prospective Debt Counsellor with the theoretical compliance aspect, once the theory has successfully been completed the learner must register directly with the NCR.

How often does our Debt Counselling training take place regionally?

We provisionally schedule a training session once every two months per region. In order to confirm training we require a minimum of eight confirmed delegates registered for training.

What is the process after I have written and passed the Debt Counselling course?

Once you have successfully completed your Debt Counselling examination, Compuscan Academy will issue you with a certificate which you would use together with accompanying registration documentation as part of the registration process. ICM TRAINING

Are all the relevant costs included in your price for the ICM Certificate in Credit Management?

Yes, the membership, exam and registration fees for the ICM Certificate in Credit Management are included in our costing.

What happens if I am ill and unable to write my exam for the ICM Certificate in Credit Management?

You would have to wait for the next examination. If you notify us timeously, we are able to postpone examinations for the next sitting.
