Catherine Love

Catherine Love ImageCatherine Love began consulting to Compuscan in 2005 and assisted the group in implementing their performance management system and other human resource policies and procedures.  She now conducts training and facilitation for Compuscan Academy.  Catherine worked in retail and banking in South Africa and the UK  for 12 years in various generalist and specialist human resource roles, including regional training manager, resourcing manager and regional human resource manager.


CRAIG SASSMAN

Craig SassmanCraig Sassman is a training consultant in the credit industry specialising in training relating to the National Credit Act 34 of 2005 and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. His legal and credit management experience has enabled him to understand and convey the principles of compliance regarding consumer legislation. Over the past five years Craig has trained the staff of various banks and microlenders both nationally and internationally on the concepts of reckless lending, debt collecting and debt counselling. Craig is a qualified debt counsellor, mediator and NQF assessor who is registered with BANKSETA and SASSETA. Craig offers a comfortable training environment and continuous individual learner support.


John Downie

John Downie

John is an economics graduate of the University of London. He obtained his honours degree after studying in Zimbabwe as an external student.  John emigrated to South Africa with his family in 1977 and joined 3m South Africa (Pty) Ltd. He was appointed to the position of group credit manager in 1980 and was awarded Credit Manager of the Year in 1995. He has been a lecturer for a number of years for Damelin Management School on credit management courses approved by the Institute of Credit Management. John is registered with the services SETA as a trainer and assessor. He presently conducts seminars for Chambers of Commerce and privately for companies and is acknowledged countrywide as an expert in training on credit related subjects.


Tass Schwab

Tass ShwabTass Schwab has over 10 years experience in the corporate education field regarding soft and technical skills and is equally comfortable in both arenas. She has extensive knowledge of the training legislation within the South African environment. Tass is passionate about adult education from a corporate perspective and believes that change begins when education in the workplace is of relevance and brings about an inner revolution. It is her belief that becoming conscious about how you affect your colleagues with your knowledge/need for skills and attitude is essential for intelligent professionals.
