Customer Services Training in Upington Print

Compuscan Academy recently had the privilege to visit Upington to empower the librarians in the Northern Cape Region for the Governmental Department of Sport, Art and Culture in terms of delivering excellent customer service. Travelling through the Karoo was amazing, but nothing could prepare us for the beauty on the banks of the Orange River.

Many valuable lessons were learnt during the course of the training, especially the value of an individual to an organisation.

  • Customer service and your organisation
  • Interacting with customers
  • Solving customer complaints and many more
Based on the feedback we received from the learners after the training it was evident that they no longer viewed themselves as just a librarian, but also as someone who has the ability to impact the community by ensuring that visitors to the library receive the correct information. They also left with the understanding that knowledge is power and they were very excited to go back into their working environment to make sure they add value to the all the public libraries.
